John LeClair Biography

John LeClair was born as John Clark LeClair on July 5, 1969 in St. Albans, Vermont. John LeClair was drafted to the NHL but waited and went to school at the University of Vermont. But 2 week after he was on the ice playing for the Montreal Canadiens.

John LeClair played for Montreal for 3 - 3.5 seasons, till he was traded to Philadelphia, were he played the next 10 seasons. Then was traded again after the salary cap to Pittsburgh were he played 1 season and became a free agent, due to his large salary. And plays in the AHL's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguin league.
